I had to sit down with one of my friends that I consider funny to help me understand the humor behind these paintings. After some fifteen minute tangential spew on the institutionalization of marriage and man's escape and unconscious desire for 'returning to the womb' he finally admitted he had just read some review on Ridley Scott's "Alien" and had absolutely no idea what the hell these paintings were about either
