After some fifteen minute tangential spew on the institutionalization of marriage and man's escape and unconscious desire for 'returning to the womb' he finally admitted he had just read some review on Ridley Scott's "Alien" and had absolutely no idea what the hell these paintings were about either

Brecht Vandenbroucke

When I saw Brecht's work it instantly reminded me of some iconic New Yorker cover pieces. So I googled 'brecht vandenbroucke new yorker' to see for myself if he's responsible for any of this funniness. The first hit I got was Juxtapoz Magazine's telling of the same comparison/resemblance. This post seems very contrived now.
