Jerry Moriarty

I was at Lucky's the other day going through some heavies, and came across these lewd beauties done by Jerry Moriarty. Stylish, sensual and funny. I don't know much about the guy, but I think these paintings date back to the 60's. He also apparently does comics, which I haven't seen before.

Oh poops. The last comic didn't properly load. You'll have to visit Kaye's website (http://kayeblegvad.com/) to find more poopy.  It has that darkfunny macabre edge that Royal Art Lodge does so well, but in my professional opinion I prefer her artwork. Bruce Eric Kaplan

Odd factoid. Bruce Kaplan, executive producer of Six Feet Under, wrote the "Pig Suggestion Box" Seinfeld episode poking fun at the New Yorkers inscrutable cartoons - which BEK himself has been contributing cartoons to frequently over the last decade or so.

He also has a new book coming out "Everything is going to be O.K."

These tableuas looks like they were recovered from the lower cubby-hole of a grade six art room. I can clearly remember kneeling over the light-bleached milky rolls with a fat pack of felt pens. Dianes still doing it. And she's also twisted and funnny.
